Some people, mostly people new to investing, ask the question “Where
can I purchase penny stocks online?” The answer to this question is
anywhere you can buy other stocks online. Yes micro-caps are not
traded on the typical stock exchanges but this does not affect where
you can purchase them online. Most major online trading accounts like
Etrade or Scottrade allow for buying penny stocks.
To make a
purchase online of this sort is to show a true desire to invest. So go
get yourself a trading account and start purchasing those penny stocks
online. Become familiar with
SEC day trading rules as you will likely
be buying and selling within the same trading day. The main rule is
don’t do that more than 3 times a week or they will freeze your
account. This does not apply to people with $25k or more in a margin
trading account. Anyway, just don’t do more than 2 or 3 day trades
each week and you will be safe.
Undervalued vs. Cheap, which is better? Penny
Stocks are by nature cheap yet there are those who want to find the
cheapest and most undervalued penny stocks they can find to maximize
their investment even more. To cut to the chase, it’s definitely
better to search for the most undervalued penny stock rather than the
cheapest. Cheap doesn’t mean that that stock will soon skyrocket.
Undervalued means look out because this stock will soon realize its
actual value.
Think about it, if a penny stock is currently trading at $.05 a
share and analysts are valuing the company at $2 to $3 a share, would
you not invest more money in that stock over others? Of course you
would otherwise you would be kicking yourself when it realizes its
actual value.
